Facing The Impossible

Choosing To Enter The Arena Despite The Challenges

They Think It Is Impossible.

The Odds are Absolutely Against You.

There is No Doubt that the Likelihood of Success is Minimal.

Perhaps Zero.

Greater People than You have Tried.

They Believed.

They Struggled.

They Fought.

They Argued.

But No Success.

They Are Smarter Than You.

Have Been At It Longer Than You.

Their Access To Tools And Resources Vastly Outnumbers Your Own.

They Appear to have had Everything Going For Them...

Everything...

Yet Still Failed.

Given All of That, Should We Not Simply Accept That Certain Things Are Impossible?

Who Are We To Believe Differently?

Yet...

Despite The Reality Of Everything That Has Been Stated...

You Believe...

You Know...

There Is Something That Has Been Missed...

Something that You Feel Deep in the Bottom of Your Soul that You Have Something to Contribute Toward.

You Are Struck With An Idea...

Perhaps There Is a Reason that You See What Others Have Missed?

Maybe it is the Training they have Received that makes them Blind to the Possibilities...

Despite their Talent...

Despite their Intelligence...

It could be they have become Inflexible to the Possibilities due to their Successes in their Careers.

Sometimes when you are Considered "The Best", You Lose Sight of the Reality of How Little You Truly Know.

In their Success, they May have Forgotten their Humanness.

Forgotten to Look at the Horizon to the Possibilities Yet Unknown.

Which Leaves an Opportunity for You to Prove Yourself.

But Who Are You?

What Gives You The Right to Even "Think" You Belong On This Stage?

The Audacity To Consider That You Have Anything to Contribute?

Are You Just A Hopeless Ball Of Ignorance Unprepared For the Reality of the Arena You Are About to Face?

You Look at the Landscape of the Arena...

It is Bloody.

It is Filled with Experienced Warriors Who have Decimated Lesser People...

The Corpses of those Lesser People Are Left, Still On Display for the World to See.

Will You Be Another Casualty?

Not Even Enough to Quench Their Thirst for Blood?

Are they Simply Going to Laugh at You?

Pin You to the Ground?

Crack Each Tiny Strand of Your Will to Live?

Leaving You Pounded Into the Dirt with Nothing...

Like a Faint Whisper that People Almost Heard but Shrugged Away As Nothing?

As Nobody?

Not Even a Footnote in Someone Else's Story?

Will this be Your Fate?

You Do Not Really Know For Certain.

They Say It Is Impossible, and Perhaps They Will Be Found To Be Right...

Yet You Can't Escape the Thoughts...

The Ideas...

The Feeling In Your Heart that It Must Be Possible...

Certainly Not Easy...

But Possible.

The Image of a Young Shepherd's Son Named David appears in your mind...

Too Young to be a Warrior...

Inexperienced in the Arena of War...

Yet Standing with Conviction Against a Monster of a Man...

Between 9 and 11 Feet Tall...

A Giant With A Reputation As A Killer...

Bold And Courageous, the Boy Stands Against the Pressure.

Undeterred by Odds.

Refusing to Use Both Sword and Armor.

Choosing a Different Tool Entirely, a Sling and Stone.

Despite Everything, it was David who Succeeded.

It was David who Took the Throne.

Against Every Odd.

Could You Be the David within this Arena?

It is Hard to Say for Certain...

But You Feel It Within You...

You Must Try...

You Must Enter the Arena.

You May Not Be As Smart As Others Here...

You May Not Be As Successful As Others Here...

You May Not Have The Resources That Others Have...

But You Do Know One Thing that is Absolutely Certain...

The Fight Here Continues...

Because No One Has Taken The Crown.

No One Has Solved It Yet...

Which Means That, Perhaps, You Can Change Everything.

Your Naiivity May Be What Is Needed.

Only One Way To Find Out...

Perhaps it is Time to Make The "Impossible"...

Possible.
