Why I Refuse To Focus My Content On Short-Form

... Despite The Advice Of Nearly Every Marketer

If you have been in the World of Business for Any Length of Time...

You'll have Heard the Same Messages being Parroted for Some Time...

Short-Form is the Future...

People have Lost their Attention Span...

No One Reads Long-Form...

If you want a Business, You Must Cater to the Masses, and that Means Short-Form.

Does Any of this Sound Familiar?

Here's the Reality...

Whether You "Should" or "Shouldn't" is Up to You.

There is No Singular Right Answer in Business...

Despite what People will Always Attempt to Convince You Of.

For Some People it "Might" be Good Advice...

But I Refuse to Focus My Content on Short-Form.

In Fact...

I Start with "All" of My Content being Medium-Form Content...

And I "Pull" a Few Lines to make my Limited, Short-Form Content...

Only Enough to Entice the Mind to Get People "Off" of Social Media to Read the Medium-Form Content.

But Medium-Form is My Primary Focus.

Why?

There are a Few Reasons...

The First is that You Get What You Expect.

What Do I Mean?

If You "Expect" Your Customers/Clients to Have No Attention Span...

Then You "Will" Get Customers/Clients Who Have No Attention Span.

If that is the Type of Customer/Client You Want, then Great.

But that is "Not" the Type of Individual I want to Work With.

I want to Work with World Changers.

I want to Help People who Break the Defective Systems of the World.

I want People who Seek the Truth.

I want People Who See Our Profoundly Sick Society and Refuse to Accept "Existing" Like That.

You Know What these Types of Individuals Do Not Care For?

They are "Not" Interested in Junk Food Motivation.

They have Longer Attention Spans because they "Need" It to Uncover the Truth.

They "Know" that Most Information Online is Useless and/or Misinformation.

They Want to "Live" Life to the Fullest and Become the Absolute Best Versions of themselves that is Humanely Possible to Achieve.

Why Would I Reduce the Quality of Content I Make to the Lowest Common Denominator...

When the People I Want to Work with "Refuse" to be the Lowest Common Denominator?

It Makes No Sense.

But there is Another Reason Why I Refuse...

It has to Do with Being Seen.

If You Do What Everyone Does...

Then You Become a Number in an Endless Sea of the Same.

When Everyone Does Short-Form...

You are a Number...

Equally Useless in Comparison to Everyone Else Doing the Exact Same Thing.

I Recently Heard About Two Different Conventions...

One was a YouTube (Medium-to-Long-Form Content) Convention with YouTube Stars...

The Other was a TikTok (Short-Form Content) Convention with TikTok Stars.

Who do you Believe had the Higher Audience?

Well, it Actually Depends on What You Mean by "Audience".

The TikTok Stars had the Higher Follower Counts Online by a Significant Amount.

But Who had the Higher Attendance at the Convention?

The YouTubers Did.

Why?

People "Liked" the TikTok Content...

But they Did Not Really "Know" the TikTok Stars.

Because All of the Content is Short-Form...

People were Mostly Unaware that the Event was Even Happening...

And Fewer Actually Felt a Deep Enough Connection to "Meet" the TikTok Creators.

The Result was that the Lines to Meet the TikTok Stars were like a Ghost-Town.

But the YouTube Creators?

They Put Time, Energy, and Huge Parts of Themselves into their Content.

They Put So Much of Themselves that Followers Felt they "Knew" the YouTube Stars.

So Much So that a Significant Portion of People felt a "Need" to Meet these Stars In Person.

Though the YouTubers had a Lower Total Count Online...

But Their Quality and Audience Dedication were Significantly Higher...

And the YouTubers had a Higher-Quality Audience.

They had Earned Loyalty from their Followers.

The Type of Content You Create will Determine the Type of Audience You Create.

This is Why I Refuse to Primarily Make Short-Form Content.

You Cannot Make Quality Content that Deeply Connects with People in Short-Form.

I've had Enough Low-Quality Relationships in My Life to Understand that they are a Waste of Time.

I "Only" want to Create Extremely High-Quality Content that Deeply Connects with People...

Because I want High-Quality and Deep Connections with Those I Serve.

These are the Only Types of Relationships that I Feel are Worth Creating.

They are the Only Types of Individuals Worth Investing Deeply Into.

But there is One More Reason Why I Refuse to Focus on Short-Form Content...

You Become What You Create.

If You Create Cheap Content...

You will Become Cheap.

If You Create Low-Quality Content...

You will Become Low-Quality.

If You Spread Your Efforts Across Hundreds of Useless Posts...

You will Spread Your Energy Across Hundreds of Useless Projects.

What will You be Left with at the End of the Day?

Cheap...

Low-Quality...

Useless Projects...

That has Made You Dumber because You No Longer have an Attention Span to Create Anything of Value.

In Life, there is Growth and Decay...

If the Content You are Making Does Not Challenge You to Grow...

Then You are Decaying by Default.

I Refuse to Decay by Choice in My Life.

As Long as My Heart Beats...

As Long as My Brain Can Question...

As Long as My Soul Carries Me Forward...

I Plan to Continue to Grow.

I Will Not Dedicate My Life to Something that Will Cause My Decay.

Far Too Many People Do This...

And I have Seen the "Fruit" of Their Lives...

But it would be Better Described as Poison and Refuse.

I want the Fruit of My Labor to be Rich in Life, Nutrients, and Health.

What I Know is that This "Is" the Type of Content I Create.

How?

"This is Very Deep, Thought-Provoking. This is Far Greater than Any Book I Have Read."

That was the Response left behind by One Reader after "One" of My Articles...

And I Write Articles of Similar Quality Daily.

"… The Homer of Sageship."

The Greek Poet, Homer, Wrote Epic Poems that have Lasted Thousands of Years.

That is the Type of Content I Seek to Create...

And Why I was Graced with this Response.

"…Among One of the Best Writers…"

I Do Not Ask People to give me Responses like this...

But because I work Hard, Every Single Day, to Create High-Quality Content...

Writing, Editing, and Publishing Complete Articles Daily for Over 900 Days...

These Types of Responses are the Earned Result.

This is Why I Have, and Will Continue, to Refuse to Focus on Short-Form Content.

The Only Value that Short-Form Content has for Me is to Find the Couple of Diamonds in the Rough...

And Pull them Out of the Toxic Landfills that Social Media has Become.

But the Majority of My Time, Energy, and Focus will be Dedicated to Medium-to-Long-Form Content...

Now and Always.
