What Most People Get Wrong About Change

Especially With Everything Involving Our Psychophysiology

There are So Many Individuals who are Seeking Change in their Lives.

It may be around Developing New Habits...

Such as Diet or Exercise.

It could be with Developing Teams or Business...

Which means New Skills such as Emotional Intelligence.

Change is something Many are Seeking...

Because they Do Not Like their Lives.

There is Something Off...

Wrong...

Difficult.

Often whatever it is is Painful...

Filled with Emotional Wounds...

And Suffering.

This Causes them to Want to Seek a Real Change in their Life...

But...

This is Often where they Go Wrong.

Most People are So Desperate for Change...

That they Try to Change Everything All At Once.

If they are Focusing on their Diet...

They Try to Change All of Their Meals Immediately.

If they want to Become More Fit...

They Try to Schedule Five to Seven Hour Long Gym Sessions Per Week.

If they are Developing a New Skill...

They Try to Push that Skill to the Far Extremes Every Day.

The Problem?

They are Not Ready...

Or More Accurately, their Bodies are Not Yet Ready.

The Result?

Shock.

When You Try to Change All Your Food at Once...

Your Body has Not Yet Learned what Nutrients the New Foods Have...

Or if there is Enough Nutrients...

Or Where Missing Nutrients Could Be Found.

When You Try to Exercise Everything at High Levels...

Your Body has Not Yet Learned How to Repair Itself Efficiently...

The Muscles May Not Be Ready for the Intensity Put on Them...

And Your Energy (Mg-ATP) Demands May Change Too Quickly.

When You Try to Push a Skill to an Extreme...

Your Brain and Nervous System have Not Optimized Energy (Mg-ATP) Pathways to Effectively Do the Skill...

You are Likely to Run Out of Steam Far Too Early...

And the Results Are Often Less Than What You Hoped.

In All of these Scenarios...

It Creates a Shock...

And Usually Multiple Forms of Shock.

It could be a Shock to Your Physical Body...

Unable to Meet the New Demands of What is Being Forced Upon It.

It could be Shock to Your Emotions...

As You're Being Faced with New Levels of Exhaustion which Test Your Patience.

It could be Shock to Your Identity...

As You May Not be as Good as You Imagined, and Now You have to Face the Reality of Who You Currently Are.

When You are Struck with these Forms of Shock and More...

It is a Recipe for Failure.

Your Psychophysiology will Demand Certain Things of You...

Nutrients...

Recovery...

Purpose...

Achievement...

But in Going for Dramatically Changing...

You Get None of These....

Only Failure.

One Thing about Being Human...

We Love to Succeed...

But Despise Being Failures.

At a Subconscious Level...

We Would Rather Be the Best at Something Mediocre and Meaningless...

Than Terrible at Something that Could Dramatically Improve Our Lives.

So...

At the Subconscious Level...

Our Psychophysiology will Drive Us to Be Successful...

And Sprint Away from whatever is Causing Us to Be Failures Constantly.

Inevitably...

This Creates a Cycle of Attempting Large Positive Changes...

But Failing...

And Reverting to What We Know We Do Not Want.

This, over time, Becomes a Vicious Cycle...

Where Our Bodies will Actively and Subconsciously Attempt to Subvert and Sabotage Our Efforts...

So that We Do Not "Repeat" the Failures of Our Past...

But Sadly...

If We Do Not Change into Growth...

Then We Begin to Decay as Humans...

Which the Results are Always Horrible.

If We Want to Overcome this Vicious Cycle...

We Must Act Differently.

Instead of Attempting Huge Changes...

We Must Seek Small, and Absolute Changes.

When I Say "Absolute", what I Mean is that You can "Absolutely" Achieve Them...

Period.

No ifs, ands, or buts.

For Some People...

This May Mean Starting Astronomically Small.

Instead of Changing Every Meal...

Add "One" Healthy Food Each Day.

Instead of Working Out to the Extreme...

Do "One" Pushup Each Day.

Instead of Attempting to Reach a Grandiose Skill Goal...

Make it a Minuscule Use of that Skill that takes Less than Five Minutes.

Now I Know...

This may "Feel" like it is "Not Enough"...

But You're Thinking About it Wrong.

Change is a Process...

Your Psychophysiology Needs to Adapt...

Change...

Learn...

And it Needs to have Successes Along the Way to Maintain the Motivation and Overcome the Subconscious Avoidance of Failure.

So...

You Make Success So Easy...

You Cannot Lose.

What happens...

Is that, Your Psychophysiology will Begin to Adapt...

You'll Succeed...

Feel Better...

And Your Psychophysiology will Naturally want More...

So it will Change and Adapt to "Get" More...

Instead of Attempting to "Force" Yourself to Do Things...

Your Psychophysiology Begins to "Seek" Further Change Instinctively.

And Yes...

You will Not Succeed "All" the Time...

But...

You will Succeed the "Majority" of the Time...

And that is All Your Subconscious Really Wants.

When it Begins to Succeed...

It will Want to Succeed More...

And it will Be More Simple...

Because You are Working "With" Your Psychophysiology...

Rather than Against It...

To Achieve Your Goals.
