What Is Humanly Possible?
A Perspective Of Humanity In A Broken World
It is an Interesting Question...
What is Humanely Possible?
It is a Question that We have been Asking for Generations.
Something which, we Frequently Find "Answers" To...
That are Incorrect.
We Couldn't Touch the Sky.
Go To Space.
Produce Enough Food.
Run Under Four Minute Miles.
All of these have Occurred Though.
What is Humanely Possible?
I also ask this because we live in a Strange World Today where We Seem to Believe that...
Humans Are Broken.
To Answer This...
We Seem to Try to Come Up with Solutions that "Fix" Whatever is "Broken"...
But the Solutions We Seem to Create Continue to Backfire...
They Create Addictions...
Cause Secondary Problems...
Sometimes the New Problems are "Worse" than the Old...
We Play this Odd Game of Claiming "Progress"...
While Simultaneously Appear to Make Things Poorer.
We Keep Hacking and Slashing at the Human Body in attempts to "Fix" the Body...
"Fixes" which are Not Working...
But I Wonder...
Are We Thinking About This All Wrong?
What If...
Most of the "Problems" We See?
Are Fixable...
By Being...
Human?
What if the Reason that the "Fixes" Continue to Fail is Because...
Those Things are Not Really the Problem?
What if the Genes are Not Broken?
What if the Brain is Not Broken?
What if the Inflammatory System is Not Broken?
What if the Challenge...
Is Something Different In The Body?
A Challenge Which...
May Not Be Broken?
But Rather, Being Misused?
What if it is Just a Matter of Discovering "How" to Be Human?
I Believe that there is Nothing More Incredible than Being Human...
But I also Believe that Very Few Individuals...
If Any At All...
Fully Understand What It Means to Be Human.
Now, perhaps there are a few things that are "Truly" Broken in Today's World...
But I Fully Believe that is it "Significantly" Less than We Believe.
Perhaps a Fraction of a Single Percent of the Total Things We "Say" Are Problems in Today's World.
We are Far Too Quick to Accept the "Brokenness" of Human Beings...
Without Knowing what Humans are Capable of in Reality.
We as a Society are Too Prideful in Thinking that We Understand the Fullness of Being Human...
And Nowhere Near Humble Enough to Accept the Reality of How Little We Know.
When you begin to Look at Psychophysiology Deeply, you begin to See How Little We Really Know.
For Instance...
Many Individuals believe that they Know Quite a Bit about Nutrition...
Maybe they Do...
Yet Despite however much they "Do" Know...
They Know Significantly Less than They Think They Know.
I Know More than Most because I've Read Literal Hundreds of Research Papers on Nutrients, their Interactions, their Effectivenesses...
Yet, I already Know that "I" Know Less than 1% of What Exists...
Because in "All" of Today's Science, Less than 1% has been Researched.
There are 150 Nutrients that We Regularly Track...
But 26,625 Nutrients that are "Known" but Not Tracked and have Little to No Research Done on Them...
In an Area of Science where People have "Extremely" Strong Opinions about what is "Right" or "Wrong".
If we Look at the Microbiota of the Gut, We Know that "More Diversity" Appears to be Better...
But Do We Know what that Diversity Consists Of?
No, We Don't.
In Most Microbiota Science, they Only "Know" about 1/2 of the Microbiota that Exists within an Individual...
I have Heard Some Individuals with as High as 80% Unknown Microbiota in their Guts.
What about when we Look at Genetics?
Well, based on the Study of Epigenetics, We Know that 80% of Our DNA Turns On and Off During Our Lifetimes...
Potentially More...
Some of which can Change in a Matter of Seconds...
Each Change that can Completely Alter How the Body Responds...
Yet we Barely Understand what Occurs with the Different Aspects of Our DNA.
How Much Do We Understand About Our Neurocardiology?
Or What About Our Nervous System?
I Can Tell You that it is Significantly Little in Comparison to Other Areas of Research.
Not to Mention the Fact that We Seem to Know Even "Less" About "How" All of these Different Systems Interact.
All of this Shows Me that We Have Not Even Scratched the Surface of What is Humanely Possible.
What is Humanely Possible?
I Honestly Do Not Know.
But the Idea of Finding Out Fascinates Me To No End.
I Expect to Continue Looking for the Rest of My Life.

We surely Do Not Know as Much as We Like to Believe…
But that Does Not Mean that People are Not Looking.
I look at a Lot of Scientific Research as I Search for ways to Help Others Attain their Potential.
I have even been some Small Studies Myself within the Therapies I am Trained In.
But there are Some Areas that “Really” Stand Out to me…
Why?
They are Beginning to Come Out with Research with Extremely Exciting Implications…
Implications which I am Beginning to See the Fruit of…
Which will Alter So Many People’s Lives for the Better…
Without Needing to Do Anything Invasive or which would Cause Secondary Consequences as we See with Most Areas of Human Research.
So, there are Four Areas in Specific that I am Excited to see Grow.
Let me tell you Why.
