What Is Greater Than Something Worth Dying For?

Where So Many People Go Wrong In Life

Is it worth dying for?

That is a question that is often asked about the quality of what we are doing with our lives.

But...

Is it really the best question to ask?

Do not get me wrong...

It has its merits.

But if you think about it...

Everyone dies.

100% of people die.

It does not matter what you do.

You will die.

I will die.

Everyone dies...

Eventually.

On top of this...

Many people are more than willing to do things that are actively killing them.

If they analyzed it more closely, they may not feel it is really “worth” it...

But that does not change the fact that they will choose to do it.

Their actions reveal that they believe it is worth dying for.

But what if there was another question?

A better question?

What is greater than something worth dying for?

Something worth living for.

Here’s the thing...

Everyone dies...

But not everyone lives.

If we look at the stats side by side...

100% of people die...

And 98% of people regret how they lived their lives.

This means that only 2% of people really discover something worth living for...

And actually live it.

This also means that there are a significant number of people...

Who find something worth living for...

But never have the courage to live it.

Is this what we want our lives to end up as?

Coming to the end of our lives...

And discovering that we did not do something worth living for?

Consider this question as you live your life.

Is doing this thing worth living for?

When you come to the end of your life...

Will it provide you with the feeling that it was worth living for?

Or will it cause you to regret your entire life?

If you want to consider your life worth living...

What needs to change?

What should you seek to pursue?

What steps are needed to begin the path toward a life worth living?

See...

This type of thinking forces you to consider beyond what is inevitable in death...

It challenges you to consider the value of your entire life.

That is something that is not guaranteed.

We may have an inherent value that is limitless...

But that does not necessarily mean that we will use our limitless value to create anything of value in life.

See...

When it comes to the value of our lives...

We typically value it based on the value we create beyond our lives...

Or fail to create.

Family.

Memories.

Impact.

Legacy.

Value that is beyond ourselves.

This is what we are talking about when we look at whether we live into our potential.

When we find things that are worth living for...

These are the types of things we discover.

Things that create value beyond ourselves...

That creates value in the lives of others.

When we come to the end of our lives...

And we are lying on our deathbed...

Recalling everything...

Most of our lives will be forgotten.

The fears...

The doubts...

The stressors...

Those all existed in our lives...

But they will not be what we are thinking about and considering.

All that will be on our minds...

Is whether we lived truly.

Now...

Here’s the thing...

If you are reading this right now...

It is not too late.

Some people create the greatest value in the world in their last year of life...

Occasionally...

Even on their final day.

If you are alive...

Then there is time.

Consider what is worth living for...

And go live.
