The Dangerous Game Many People Play
Written by a human, for humans, always.
I had a dream...
Where there was a man who wanted the power to lead.
So he was given a gift...
The rope of truth.
With this gift...
He could lead others to truly great things.
However...
The man was not happy with the truth as it was...
As it was revealed to him through the rope.
So...
The man sought to change the truth...
To form the rope in different ways...
To create knots and loops...
To violate it.
Again and again he tried to change the truth...
Form the truth into an appearance of his liking...
Unsatisfied with what it revealed each time.
The more he tried to change the rope...
The more it surrounded him...
Until...
He created a loop that went around his neck...
And in failing to accept the truth...
He perished...
Choking on the truth.
This may sound like a strange dream...
Fantastical or horrific...
But it is closer to the truth than most people care to admit.
There are so many people that I see in the world...
Who do exactly this.
They know what the truth is.
But it is not the truth that they want...
They do not want it themselves...
They do not want others to see the truth...
They want a different truth.
So...
They try to change the truth.
They only reveal certain aspects of their lives while hiding others...
They pick and choose parts of history while ignoring others...
They create tales and stories, shapes that they want you to believe is truth...
But the reality is that none of these is the truth...
They are simply loops and knots in the rope of truth.
What happens though...
When one attempts to hide the truth in this way...
For so long...
In so many different ways?
They know the truth...
Even if consciously they have bought into their change...
Their subconscious is not fooled.
Deep down...
They still know the truth...
Which is why they are so adamant about trying to change the truth...
Because deep down...
They know they have not succeeded in changing anything...
Not really...
Not in reality.
As they create more knots and loops...
A few things can happen.
They may come to realize their futility...
If they are wise...
And seek to understand and utilize the rope of truth as it was designed.
Or...
They may either...
Come to realize their futile efforts...
And give up completely...
Losing all hope...
Choking on that reality...
Or...
They may continue to try to work against the rope of truth...
Unable to come to terms with it...
Continuing to fight and battle...
Loop and knot...
Until they have done it so much that they have created something they cannot escape...
The inevitable tightening of the truth.
No matter your personal feelings about it...
There is the truth.
You can attempt to force your will upon it in a different way...
Try to make it become something else...
But it will not work.
The truth is not subject to your demands.
It will either destroy you in your efforts to violate it...
Or...
You will come to accept the truth.
What most people fail to understand...
Is that when we come to truly seek the truth...
Accept it as it is...
No matter how harsh or painful it may seem...
There is a liberation that also comes with the truth...
And it is in that freedom...
Where we can begin to use the truth...
As the tool that it was originally designed to be in our lives.
The rope of truth has the power to guide others...
To redirect what is wrong...
To provide passage to new heights...
To create safety from dangerous drops that threaten us...
To block dark paths.
This is the power of the rope of truth that is in your hands.
The question remains...
Will you attempt to violate the truth...
Or embrace the truth?
