Understanding What Comes With The Productive Heights
What Allows You To Have More
When You Hit Your Productive Heights...
You Feel Amazing.
The Depths of it is only Reached through Flow States.
Not Only Do You Perform Well...
But the Voice of Doubt is Silenced...
You Act without Questioning Whether You are Able to Or Not.
You Simply Do.
When you are in the Flow State...
You Do Not Even Realize that You're There...
It is Only After the Flow State has Ended that You Realize How Far You Were Able to Go.
It can Truly be Astounding.
But here's the Thing...
When You Hit Your Productive Heights...
You have to be Wary.
Why?
Let me Explain.
Yesterday, I hit a Productive High.
I was Completely at the Depths of Research and Writing for My Article.
I spent Hours of Digging and Uncovering and Finding Ways to Write what I Felt was a Really Cool Topic.
Two Quick Notes...
Flow States can be Very Subjective, so what "I" Find to be Very Cool may not be what Others find to be Cool... but the Flow State Really Only Matters to the One Experiencing It.
Also, Flow States only Occur in Periods of about Fifty to Ninety Minutes, so when I say I Spent "Hours", it means that I went through Multiple of these Periods with Breaks Between.
So, when I Finally Finished Up My Writing and Flow States Yesterday...
It was Nearly Midnight.
Exhilarating.
Fantastic.
Spectacular.
That is...
Until Today.
Why?
I have Been at Extremely Low Energy (Mg-ATP) Today.
All Day Today.
Absolutely Exhausted.
My Health Stats Were All Positive.
High HRV.
Low RHR.
Plenty of Sleep.
All the Signs Indicate that I Should be Good to Go...
Except that I am Experiencing Physical Exhaustion Still.
When You Understand Flow States and Productive Heights...
This Should Not be Surprising.
As Humans, Everything Works in Cycles.
If you Perform at Your Highest Levels...
Even While Physically Extremely Healthy...
You're Going to Also Hit Your Lowest Levels of Performance.
Every High has a Low.
This is the Cost of Extreme Performance.
Many People try to Go Through Life by Maintaining a Similar Level of Performance...
Day to Day Accomplishing Close to the Same Thing.
But It Never Works...
Why?
To Improve and Attain New Heights...
You Need to "Push" Yourself to Extremes.
Those who Attain Sageship get there by Pushing their Boundaries.
Only Through Breaking the Boundaries Do You Achieve the Highest of Heights...
But the Cost is that You'll Also Hit Lows.
There is Something Interesting that Occurs though...
As You Push Toward New Heights...
Your "Lows" Will Begin to Overshadow Other's Heights.
You Will Feel Completely Off Your Game...
But Others Will Still be Amazed with What You Accomplish.
Feelings Highs and Lows are Simply a Part of Being Human.
You Cannot Avoid It.
No Matter How High Your Heights Become...
You Will Always Still Feel the Lows.
Now, where People Often Go Wrong is that they try to "Push" Themselves to Their Heights Every Single Day.
But this Simply Leads to Burnout...
Where Our Productivity Potential Drops to Only 5%...
And Where Finding a "Consistent" Height begins to "Feel" Easier...
But that is the Trap of Low Performance.
To Overcome This...
You Cannot Hit Your Same Height Every Day.
What You Will Require Some Days is Rest and Recovery.
This Does Not Mean Doing "Nothing"...
As Humans, Our Bodies Desire "Some" Challenge and Novelty in Our Lives...
And We Can Attain Flow States Every Day...
But the Height of the Flow State will Change from Day to Day.
For Me, Today is an Extreme Low...
But I Will Still Write My Daily Article, and Run My Daily Mile.
My Article May Not Feel as "Inspired"...
My Mile May Not be as "Fast"...
And that is Alright.
Normal.
To Be Expected.
With Every Great Height...
There is a Great Low...
It is in those Lows where You Must Lock Into Your Recovery...
So that You Can Continue to Push to New Heights.

So, How Do We Get Back to Our Heights?
This really becomes the Limiting Factor to True Peak Performance.
The More Frequently We Can Hit Our Heights…
The Faster We Can Grow…
But to Do This We Must Get “Back” To Our Heights…
Which Means Following the Flow Cycle.
Struggle…
Release…
Flow…
Recovery…
Struggling is Easy, and Most People Do “Too” Much Struggle.
Release is Harder, and Requires us to Find the Specific Eu-Stress Zone where Flow Begins.
Then, Flow Activates and Only Requires Us to Keep Our “Focus” on the Task at Hand.
Once we Exit the Flow State, We Must Recover.
But “How” We Do that is the Question.
Let’s Dive In…
