The Decision That Redefined My Career

1,200 Days Straight Of Writing Articles

Written by a human, for humans, always.

I needed something to change.

Things were good...

What I was doing in my business as a business and leadership coach was effective...

But I knew that there was more.

More that could be done.

Greater impact that was possible.

Yet I felt stuck in my career.

So...

January 1st, 2023...

I made a decision.

I was going to write an article every single day...

From start to finish...

From idea to editing to publishing...

For a year.

I had written a few articles to that point...

But nothing significant.

Nothing that had gone viral or was recognized at any meaningful level.

Even so...

I thought it would be beneficial.

At the very least to create a portfolio of work for marketing purposes.

I decided that every article could be as long as I wanted...

But always had to be a minimum of 250 words.

When you write 250 words...

It really does not seem like it is much.

I’m already past 60% of the way to that in this article.

However, I chose that because I had not created an established habit...

And I knew...

That at some point down the line...

I would be tired...

Struggling...

Perhaps after having a really difficult day...

Or while on a trip...

And I needed to make sure that I could still stay on target.

So...

I wrote my first article.

Then another.

Then another.

For awhile...

It felt like I was writing out into an abyss.

No one was reading...

No one noticed...

There was nothing I earned from writing each day from the outside world.

I just wrote.

At first...

It really was a struggle.

Finding things to write about.

Feeling like what I wrote was worth publishing.

Hitting the publish despite my doubts.

Continuing forward without noticeable results.

There was a point at around the 100 day mark where I questioned if it was really worth it.

It was soon after that when I began to notice...

That even though there were no external changes...

I was beginning to change.

I was developing new ideas.

I was finding better ways to communicate those ideas.

I was pushing myself to learn more so that I had enough to speak about.

I was growing.

That was when I first started to get noticed.

I received an award for an article that I wrote...

Then another...

And another.

Before I knew it, I was a top creator on two different platforms.

People were noticing.

That was when I really began to expand my work further and further into new areas.

I was writing about a theoretical new business model...

Regenerative Legacy Design...

Which became not only an award-winning concept...

But further became a proven design within an organization that I was working with....

Helping them escape group burnout and begin to flourish from the ground-level up.

I was writing about a new theory designed to go “beyond” today’s leadership models and programs...

Sageship...

Which also became an award-winning concept...

That brought together Regenerative Legacy Business Models, the Wisdom Economy, deep Psychophysiology, and Holistic Health into a single model.

This required me to not just talk about science...

But I really needed to “understand” the scientific research involved...

Because as I began to discover...

There is a lot of bad marketing research, fake research, and now even AI hallucinated research that exists in the world...

And I needed to get to the truth.

Not for the sake of anything other than wanting to know the truth of these things.

So I kept digging...

And learning...

And writing.

Article after article.

One year became two years of writing...

And something new started to happen.

I was getting recognized constantly in the fields of business and leadership...

To the point where I was getting on the cover of magazines...

Being accepted into the Hall of Fame...

And even getting featured in Times Square, New York.

But more than this...

I was getting recognized in the world of science and psychology.

I became a top creator on the subject of Psyche...

I was recognized as a “Top Doctor” alongside doctors who have been practicing medicine for years...

And I even was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Advanced Studies in Psychology.

This really made me begin to wonder...

What else could I become in my career?

What was possible?

This gave me courage in my abilities...

And I went on to also become a licensed, board certified functional medicine practitioner.

It was something that I never really would have considered...

Yet, it is something that has added so much to my life and the life of my clients.

But I am not yet done with discovering what is possible.

I am working on becoming a traditional naturopath...

And have plans to begin to also become a Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and Naprapath.

Why?

Well, as I continue to dive further into psychophysiology...

I have been seeing more and more problems grow in the world...

With answers that have not yet been answered.

But...

Just because there is not an answer yet...

Does not mean we cannot find the answer...

And I believe that these will provide specific insights which will answer these questions.

Not as individual modalities...

But when united with a larger picture.

Here is what I know though...

None of this would have been possible...

If I had not started writing consistently.

The growth...

The recognition...

The confidence...

The desire to solve larger and more complex problems...

All happened because I chose to write every single day.

Even on the tough days...

When I sat for hours trying to come up with anything to write about...

When I didn’t feel like it...

When I knew people were not paying attention...

When writing 250 words felt like a struggle...

Each day I chose to write...

Built up to become so much more.

Every individual day may have felt small...

Insignificant...

But it all began to build momentum to today...

Where as I publish this article...

Is 1,200 days straight of writing and publishing articles.

What comes next?

I am not certain.

But I will continue to write.
