They were talking about the current state of LinkedIn...
It was described as...
"...a cosplay convention for overachievers, where everyone’s dressing up as the most optimized, inspired, leadership-synergizing version of themselves."
Here's the Reality...
This is True...
Not Just on LinkedIn...
But on Every Social Media Platform.
People talk about the Importance of Authenticity...
But they Fail to be Authentic in a World where We Rely on Social Media.
The Algorithms Do Not Care...
About Humanity.
What is Good for Us...
And What is like Poison.
The Algorithm Cares Only About One Thing...
Addiction.
Addiction to the Feed...
And to Accomplish This...
The Feeds Need to Use and Abuse Us...
And We have Been Convinced that the Path to Success...
Lies in Allowing Ourselves to become Marionets to the Whims of these Algorithms.
You want to Be Seen?
You Must Dance to the Kinks of the Algorithm.
Whatever that Means...
And What it Will Always Mean...
That whatever You Present to the Algorithm...
Must be Loud...
Obnoxious...
Unbelievable...
To the Craziest Degrees.
If it is Not Flashy Enough...
If it is Not Sensational Enough...
If it is Not Getting Enough Clicks...
Then it is Hidden...
Purposefully.
What We Lose in the Worship of the Algorithm...
Is Authenticity.
It Dies.
It Cannot Live.
For the Endless Levels of Success...
Overcoming...
And Goal Attainment...
Is a Delusion.
No Human Being...
No Matter How Truly Incredible...
Will Ever Be Able to Meet the Demands of the Algorithms.
It is Absolutely Unsustainable.
But the Algorithm Does Not Care about Your Reality as a Human.
It Cares Only for the Addiction of the Masses.
Which means that to Attempt to Live into the Demands...
Requires Us to Be Inauthentic.
To Put On A Mask...
And Pretend...
To Be Whatever the Algorithm Tells Us is Required to Get the Eyes of the Addicted Public on Us.
But this is a Gigantic Problem for Us as Humans...
Because With Every Mask that We Wear...
There is a Shadow Created...
And the Larger the Illusion we Design for the World to See...
The More Intense the Nightmares of the Shadow Become.
How Long will it Take...
For the Nightmares to Win?
For Others to See through the Illusions?
For the Truth to be Discovered?
That You are But a Human...
Flawed...
With Weaknesses...
And Struggles?
The Algorithm has No Time for Failure of Humans...
Unless it is of Such Epic Proportions that Others will Laugh and the Only Role Left for You to Play is that of the Fool.
But are You Ready to be the Fool for the Rest of Your Life?
For No One to Take You Seriously?
And are You Ready for the Algorithm to Tell You...
That You are Not Fool Enough?
That You Must Escalate the Dramatics of Your Failures...
Until when They Too Reach a Point Beyond Reasonability...
And the Algorithm Discards Your Sad Remains to the Abyss of the Forgotten.
No Matter Which Extreme You Play...
It Will Never Be Enough for the Algorithm...
You Will Need to Become Inauthentic.
The Shadows and Nightmares that are Created by This Will Destroy You...
Eventually.
Everything Will Become a Chain...
The Need to Put On the Marionette Strings for Your Shows to the World...
The Trappings of Success and the Need to Obtain More...
The Views and Likes of the Public...
All Addicted to the Algorithms Colloseum...
Putting On its Gladiatorial Fights for Entertainment...
And Willing to Give Us the Thumbs Down of Eternal Rejection if We are Unable to Meet the Demands...
Uncaring...
Cold...
This will Always become the Fate of those Who Decide to Wear the Shackles of the Algorithms.
But is this What We Want?
Do We Want the Death of Authenticity?
Is it Really the Future that We Desire?
I Know that it is Not the Fate that Our Hearts and Souls Seek...
We Want Something Different...
Something True...
Reality.
Not the Illusions and Delusions of the Algorithms...
But a True and Fully Human Reality.
We want to Feel Our Emotions...
Not to be Judged for the Entertainment Value of Our Emotions.
We want to Find Growth and Cultivation...
Without the Pressure of Unrealistic Expectations that Require us to Become Frauds in the Process.
If We Want a Better Future...
We Cannot Continue to Live in the Shadows of these Masks.
We Need to Discover Ourselves...
Be Truly Authentic...
And Throw Off the Yokes of Our Oppresors.
Those Who Seek Sageship Also Cultivate Others!
