The Three Paths To Decide Between
Life Presents Us with an Option...
We Walk Up to the Split Ahead of Us...
And from it, there are Three Branches.
Which Branch Do You Choose?
Each Path Appears Quite Different.
The First Path is the Option of Survival.
To Simply Allow Life to Happen.
It Appears to be an Easy Path at First.
The Path is Simple to Follow...
There are People who Point You in the Direction to Go Next.
You are Given "Just" Enough...
But Just Enough for What?
To Simply Stay on the Same Path.
To Survive...
To Continue Forth on the Way that is Prescribed...
Regardless of Our Hopes...
Or Dreams...
Or Desires...
Or Abilities...
There is only the Endless Path that asks us to Consume...
And Produce...
Until Our Time is Done.
The Second Path is the Option of Resignation.
It Appears to be an Easier Path than that of Survival.
It is Open and Travels Downhill.
It Requires Little...
If You Begin, it is Easy to Build Your Momentum and Sprint Downward.
It Can Feel Liberating at First...
No One Telling You What to Do...
The Speed at Which Life Begins to Pass By...
But You Begin to Find that...
Nothing is Provided for You Here Either...
And If You Continue Too Long...
You Cannot Stop...
The Momentum Becomes Too Great...
You can Attempt to Stop...
But You Simple Fall...
And Descend Further and Further Down the Hill at Breakneck Speeds...
Your Body Begins to Fracture...
Until You Discover that at the Bottom of this Hill, which You have Been Crashing Down...
Is an Early Grave.
Ready to Embrace You with the Cold Grasp of Regret.
The Third Path is the Trickiest of the Three.
It is Difficult to See...
Harder to Travel...
It Requires You to Go Upward.
Few Choose the Path...
Meaning Few will be there to Guide...
The Further You Go...
The Fewer People You Will Find.
It is a Path that Will Require the Most From You...
All of Your Abilities...
All of Your Strengths...
All of Your Courage.
You Will Falter on the Path.
It is Inevitable.
You Will Struggle.
It will be Painful.
And You Will Look Down at those whose Lives Appear Easier and Wonder...
If You Made the Right Decision.
If This Path was Truly Worth It.
Choosing to Continue Upward on this Path will Only become More Difficult.
And there May be a Day where the Path Itself Disappears...
The End of the Path...
But Not the End of Ascent.
It is at this Point where Another Choice will become Necessary...
Continue Beyond Where Anyone has Ever Been Before...
Or Give Up.
If You Choose to Say No More...
No One Would Blame You.
It is What Most Do.
You will be Welcomed with Open Arms on the Path of Survival.
The Path of Survival will Continue to Point You on Its Own Path...
Until Your Eventual End.
But...
If You Choose to Continue Upward...
Continue to Strive Forward...
Continue to Make Your Own Path Upward...
You May Find a View that No Other Person has Ever Seen.
A View So Beautiful and Amazing...
That Others will Find it Difficult to Believe...
Or Understand...
But it is a View which is Worth Everything it Took to Find.
This Final Path...
This is the Path of Living.
Few People Truly Live.
Most Survive.
Many Resign.
But Individuals who Choose the Path of Living are So Rarely Seen.
Yet, these Individuals are Often the Happiest that Exist.
There is One More Thing that is Important to Know about these Paths...
Every Day, the Option to Choose is Available.
You can Continue on a Path as long as You Wish...
But You can Change Paths if You Desire as Well.
Yesterday's Choice Does Not Need to Define You.
Each Day is a New Opportunity to Decide How You want Your Life to be Defined.
A New Choice can Be Made Until the Day of Your Final Breath...
And it May be That Day which Becomes the Most Important of All of Your Choices.
