The Control Flaw
The Ironic Failure Of Most Humans In Their Desire To Control The World Around Them
The Control Flaw
The Ironic Failure Of Most Humans In Their Desire To Control The World Around Them
Written by a human, for humans, always.
Something that I have noticed in humans...
Is that we have a desire for control.
We want control over outcomes that are possible for us.
We want control over the actions of others.
We want control over our governments.
We want control over our environment.
In some cases...
We want so much control...
As to become indistinguishable...
From gods.
Here is the irony of it all when it comes to human psychology.
When we attempt to control things at a higher and higher level...
Typically...
We lose control over whatever we deem lower levels.
The more we try to control...
The less capable we become of controlling the world around us...
And importantly...
We usually lose control of ourselves.
In so many ways...
I have seen people in our society...
Lose themselves...
In the pursuit of control over different aspects of society.
They lose themselves...
Physically...
Mentally...
Emotionally...
Spiritually.
All in their pursuit to become more powerful...
To become judges over mankind...
Executives...
Rulers...
Idols...
Kings...
gods.
But not only do they lose themselves...
They end up failing completely.
At the end of everything...
Not only do they lose themselves...
But they lose all they strove to control.
All of it...
Every single time...
Eventually collapses.
It all fades into oblivion...
At best...
Only being remembered as a memory.
The more we try to control...
The less control we have.
The higher our strivings...
The more our lives crumble.
At the end of it all...
What are you left with?
That is what most people do not think to consider...
Or are afraid to.
