When You have a Desire to Help People...
You set off into the World to Use Everything in Your Power to Help those in Need.
But there is a Common Trap that is Easy to Fall Into.
I've Fallen Into it Myself.
More than Once.
The Trap is a Belief...
Simple...
Which Penetrates Deeply into the Promises of the Internet and Social Media.
What is It?
That We Have The Ability To Help Everyone.
I Know that it is Hard to Accept.
Sometimes Extremely Difficult to Come to Terms With.
There are Many People in the World...
So Many are Struggling...
Intensely...
Painfully...
And You Just want to Help Ease that Struggle.
The Internet Promises that We Can Expand Ourselves Worldwide...
Social Media Promises that Our Reach can Blow Up at Any Moment, and We can Begin to Be in Contact with Everyone.
All You "Need" is the Right Message...
The Right Moment to Blow Up...
Just a Little More...
And Soon You'll be Saving Everyone.
But it is all a Lie, as Much as I Hate to Say It.
No Single Person can Help Everyone.
We are Human, and there are Simple Barriers that will Always Prevent Us from Helping Everyone.
For Instance...
We All Only Have Certain Strengths.
There is Only So Much You Can Do with Your Strengths.
You can Always Learn More...
But to Help the Greatest Number of People that You're Able...
You will have to Go Beyond Mastery of Your Strengths...
You Must Enter into Sageship.
But the Problem of Doing this within the Current Context is that...
Not Everyone Needs Every Strength at Any Given Time.
Ever.
Even if Your Strength is "Spreading Positivity"...
There are Times when Positivity can be Detrimental, or Even Harmful.
I was Reading about a "Doctor" who Believed that Cancer could be Cured Purely by Helping People Overcome Traumas and bringing Positivity into their Lives...
The Result?
Hundreds Known, and Perhaps into the Thousands...
Dead.
There is a Point within Cancer where "Positivity" is Simply Not Enough...
It is the Wrong Strength at that Stage.
Can Positivity be Helpful "With" Other Solutions?
Absolutely.
But Not By Itself.
As Humans, We are Interdependent, and We All Have Different Strengths that We Must Combine and Utilize at Different Times.
There are Times for Positive Thinking.
There are Times for Realism and Action.
No Matter what Your Strengths are in this World...
There Will be Times when it is Not the Strength that Someone Needs "Now".
But there is Another Aspect to this as well...
You are One Person.
You have Limited Time and Resources.
You May be Incredible...
But No Matter How Incredible You are...
It is Not Possible to Help Over 8 Billion People in Your Lifetime.
If you Helped One Person Every Second of Your Life...
And You Lived to be 100 Years Old...
You Would Still Only Help Under 3.2 Billion People...
Not Including Sleep You Need...
Not Including Time for Eating and Bathing...
Plus...
How Much Help Do You Truly Believe You Can Help People with in 1 Second?
Even if...
You Multiply Your Efforts through Video, Podcasts, Standing on a Stage, or Live Streaming...
All of these Efforts become Diluted because they "Must" be Diluted to Help the Greatest Number of People in the Shortest Period of Time.
But Diluted Efforts Do Not Get Final Results.
They are a Great Place to "Start"...
But More Hands-On Help will Always Be Needed at Some Point.
No Matter How You Slice It...
You Cannot Help Everyone in the World Effectively.
But it Still Goes Another Step Further...
Even if You happened to have the Absolutely Best Solution for Everyone in the Entirety of Time in what You Do...
Some People will Not be Ready for Your Solution...
Some People will Not Believe You...
Some People will Even Actively Work Against You for Whatever Various Reasons that they may Have.
I have Watched Good-Hearted People Fight Other Good-Hearted People only too Frequently in my Lifetime.
It is Not Always a Battle of "Good and Evil"...
Often it is a Battle of Simply Understanding Each Other...
Which is Harder than Most People Believe It Is.
But Even if People "Do" Understand Each Other...
Life is Difficult...
People have Different Struggles at Different Times.
When You are in the Midst of Your Struggle...
Sometimes, which are Normal and Human, such as when we Experience the Loss of Life...
A "Solution" is Not what is Needed.
Sometimes, we Must Simply "Be".
Then, there are other times where People just are Not Ready.
They are Too Head Strong and Unwilling to Learn what they Neeed...
Unable to Hear because they Refuse to Listen.
At those Times...
You May have the Right Solution...
But Attempting to Help can, Ironically, Push them Away.
This happens to Good-Hearted Parents all the Time, where they Attempt to Help their Child, only to Watch their Child "Sprint" in the Other Direction.
Then, All of this Combines for a Final Challenge that Exists when You Try to Help Others...
The More You Dilute Your Resources...
The Less Effective You Become at Everything.
To the Point of Becoming Completely Ineffective at Everything.
I have Watched So Many Good-Hearted People Waste Time, Energy, and Money on People who Were Not Ready for the Person's Help...
The Result?
No One was Happy.
No One was Helped.
Everyone Lost at the End of the Day.
When You Spread Yourself Too Thinly...
Your Money Cannot Cover the Necessary Expenses...
Your Efforts are Not Enough to Help Others Successfully...
And You Will be Completely Exhausted at the End of it All Leaving You Feeling Hopeless.
One of the Career Paths that has Long Held the Highest Rates of Burnout?
Healthcare.
Why?
The Good-Hearted Individuals are Trying their Best to Help and Save Everyone...
But they are Unable.
Yet, they still "Try"...
Unsuccessfully, which Hurts So Much More.
When You're Good-Hearted...
I Know that You Want to Help Everyone...
But If You Want to Be Successful in Helping Others...
You Must Also Accept Reality...
Your Limitations...
Your Humanness...
These are Not Weaknesses, though...

Your Ability to Dive into Sageship can Unlock New Ways to Help Others...
Which May Be Exactly What Others Need, but Never Had Previously.
That becomes Extremely Powerful...
And When We Unite Our Strengths...
We can Accomplish Far More than Any Single Individual.
Our Largest Ability to Help Others...
Comes from Understanding Where We are Able to Best Help People...
Then Maximizing Our Efforts There.
