A Simple Appreciation

Finding The Life-Giving Breath Amidst The Darkness Of Life

Life is Never Perfect.

It Never has Been and It Never Will Be.

Something that I have Learned, though, is that what you Focus On is what You Will Find More Of.

If You Solely Focus on the Wrongness, Problems, and Pains of Life?

You will Always Only Find...

Wrongness.

Problems.

Pains.

You will Continue to Find More and More of them.

It is like Being a Detective, but All You Find are the Faults in Your Life.

It becomes a Twisted and Sadistic Cycle.

Wrongness to More Wrongness.

Problems to More Problems.

Pain to More Pain.

A Vicious Cycle.

Repeating Itself Again and Again and Again.

Pulling You Under the Black Tides.

Suffocating.

Drowning.

Our Minds are Vastly Powerful and Capable of So Much...

But We Use Our Minds To Torture Ourselves.

It Does Not Have To Be This Way, Though.

Life is Filled with Challenges, Yes.

But It Is Not All Terrible.

When was the Last Time You Sat Down?

Looking Around You...

For Simple Appreciation?

I Understand that Our Problems are Real and Our Stressors can become Overbearing.

I'm not saying these Will Just Disappear.

But We Do Ourselves No Favors by Solely Focusing on the Bad.

Life Has Beauty.

Life Has Good.

Life Has Hope.

But We Become Blind to them if We Never Look for them.

We can put our Detective Mind to Work Looking for What to Appreciate in Life.

It Does Not Need to be Anything Extreme.

The Way a Blade of Grass Moves in the Breeze.

The Artistry that Exists within a Piece of Graffiti.

The Patterns that Exist within the World Around Us.

The Different Types of Expressions People Make.

The Beauty of the Colors of the Sky.

What can You Appreciate?

I know, this Seems So Simple and Perhaps Vastly Small in Comparison to the Darkness that We See Within the World.

The Darkness that is Pushed on Us through News, Media, and Others.

But that becomes the Power of Simple Appreciation.

Everything always seems to Show Us the Problems...

But Any Evidence to the Contrary...

No Matter How Small...

Proves that there "Is" Good in the World.

That there "Is" Beauty in the World.

That there "Are" Paths to Healing in the World.

That Evidence, even if Small and Simple, Reminds Us.

When we are Reminded of This, the Detective of Our Minds can Seek More.

Seek More Good, Beauty, and Healing in the World.

The More We Seek?

The More We Find.

But it Goes Further than this as well...

The More We Find...

The More Hope We Become Filled With.

Hope that, Despite the Problems, the Future May Grow to become Better.

That the Small Good can Become Larger.

Then, One Day, that could Simply Become the Norm.

Hope Breeds More Hope.

What does this Allow For?

Potential.

Specifically for the Potential Within Ourselves to Ignite in Creating More Good in the World.

More Beauty in the World.

More Healing in the World.

These Paths to Our Potential Always Begin Small and in Darkness.

Like the Seed Buried in the Earth.

The Darkness and Pressure become Motivation for Growth.

The Growth Allows us to Break from the Darkness and Ground.

As We Grow in Our Potential, it Becomes like the Tree Reaching Toward the Sky.

Though the Tree is Still Connected to the Darkness and Pressure of the Dirt through its Roots...

It No Longer Prevents the Tree from Continuing Upward in Growth.

The Deeper that the Roots have Touched in the Darkness under the Soil...

The Greater Potential for the Tree to Grow High.

But for the Seed of Our Potential to become Expressed...

We Must Feed It With Simple Appreciation.

Psychophysiological Mastery

For Paid Subscribers

Now, I am acutely aware of a Challenge that Many Face Here.

Sometimes, even when you “Want” to Look for the Good.

It can be Difficult.

Now, many people will begin to think that “They” are Broken because of this.

But the “Vast” Majority of the Time, and even perhaps All of the Time…

It is Not True.

There are Reasons that We Sometimes Struggle to Find the Good in the World.

Over time, I have Found the Most Likely Culprits that Cause of Struggle.

All of which come from How Our Psychophysiology Works.

If we Solve for Our Psychophysiology…

Our Brain is Able to Find the Good in the World Much Easier.

We can Grow into Our Potential Much Faster.

It is Possible.

Let’s Dive In…
